Hen House

This was a dive back in the day. The new owners went togreat expense and alot of hard work to revamp this place. A "Race" bar for sure. Nice place to kick back a few. BUT watch out for RPD. they do like to watch the place for people leaving. Drink & drive responsibly.

OK. I'm not going to lie. I always thought this place was a little dive bar that only the alcoholics went to. After all, there are cars there at 10:00 am in the morning.

One of my friends invited me to go hang out there and I thought, "I haven't been stabbed in a while. Sure! Let's go!"

I don't mind admitting that I was so wrong. It's actually a nice little bar. They have a nice clean atmosphere. They've got a juke box and a pool table. The best part is the outside patio. Even though all the smokers are out there, it's a great place to hang out. They have lots of seating and a couple of tv's under the palapa bar.

If you are really looking for an adventure, they even have a sand volleyball court (They make you sign a waiver before you get through the door...haha). The crowd is definitely diverse, with mostly younger guys who love UFC clothing, but I never felt uncomfortable like I do at some of the bars in town.

Go by if you haven't tried it before. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is a great place to hang out and people watch. The bartenders are usually pretty nice and drinks are comparable to other establishments. They have Kareoke and that is always entertaining!!! The place is clean and they have a great outdoor patio with another bar. Only two pool tables though, and they are always taken. Usually a good mix of ages and I've never witnessed any fights there!
