Hometown Buffet

I had signed up for email coupons and forgot to bring the Kids Eat Free with me when I left the house. When I got there I explained that to the manager and he went ahead and let me have the discount anyway. Saved ten bucks. That is always nice.

This is a favorite with my young kids just because they get to choose whatever they want. My least favorite meal is lunch, they have a very boring selection. Dinner gets better but in my opinion breakfast is their best meal. Their desserts stink!! The only one worth while is their cinnamon rolls. Sometimes they bring them hot to your table. That's the best!

There has to be something for everyone. The variety on this buffet is amazing. The staff are very friendly. We especially like the clam chowder and the fried chicken. The salad bar has the most to chose from of any place I've been.

This is my 4 yr olds fav place. Mine, not so much. The "servers" are always friendly, but the food is really just ok. Even their desserts are not the greatest. I like their ice cream and they have some good toppings to go on it. But if they come by the table and offer you their cinnamon rolls (fresh from the oven) you have to take one, or two. They are excellent. My opinion is that they are the only American buffet in Redding so they don't try very hard. When you go to a place like Vegas where buffets are a dime a dozen you will pay the same price but get fantastic food.

The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty clean. The food was kind of greasy with a lot of fried options. If you want a lot of mediocre food for a cheap price, go here.
