Service is great and staff is friendly. Old building, but always appears really clean. The ice cream is amazing and takes me back to childhood. My husband's favorite is the black and tan. It changed hands and got away from the old fashioned creamery road, but it is back. The owner and her family are really nice people. They serve up the largest portions you have ever seen of some of the most decadent ice cream deserts. Their strawberry shortcake is a favorite of mine and you should bring help if you plan on finishing off one of their concoctions. Great place to stop by after leaving Marketfest or the Cascade theater. Nice to have good places like this located in downtown Redding.
