Dutch Bros is a great place for coffee. Every location has great customer service, everyone is always so friendly, upbeat, funny and nice. The kids love going there too, their coffees, blended mochas, flavored Red Bull's and smoothies are delicious!
Jacks is a dark, crowded, hole-in-the-wall steak house. The wait is long,
its dark, and the place gets packed.
But its the best in town!
Great atmosphere, a place where you can get away with wearing jeans and a tee shirt, or get dressed up for date night.
The salad is simple, but yummy. Steaks are always great, prawns are huge and delicious. Drinks are made very well too.
A staff is very friendly, remember your name, and make you feel at home.
If I want to be really bad I go to Lai Lai's. I have to admit, I usually only get certain things, especially the honey shrimp. But its fairly good food, the service is good and its a quick place to grab a bit to eat. Not the healthiest place to go, but still yummy!
Every Tuesday morning, after our office meeting, dozens of donuts are brought back and placed in the break room. They don't even tempt me. I believe they are from Holiday or Winco, not sure. But let me tell you, we would have a BIG problem if they were from Heavenly Donuts. I would probably eat them all, and probably be found under my desk after I crash from such a sugar rush...Those are the BEST donut around. Similar to Winchell's, which we no longer have in Redding. Even better than Crispy Creme! Seriously!
