I work in the south end of Redding and always need a quick, healthy and (of course) tasty lunch. The Baja Burrito is a very fast lunch spot in an area that is sorely lacking in any kind of lunch spot.

The customer service is excellent, and I get to practically build my own burrito! Price is reasonable for the amount of food you receive.

I always enjoy my lunch at Baja. Burritos are huge! You may want to take a friend to share one.... unless you eat like i do.

Reddings best full-service wine bar! Vintage is a great place for dinner or simply a glass of wine with friends. The selection of wine is extensive and bold. Vintage was very busy the evening we went, so reservations are probably best on busy nights. Live music is common at the establishment. They also have a large separate room that could be used for meetings or parties. Beer drinkers will be pleased to find that some of the taps are the hard-to-find favorites like Nitro-Guiness and Racer 5. Love it!

What's better than Ice Cream. This is probably a spontaneous purchase although some people may go here specifically for a cone. The old-fashioned Ice-cream in the drug store is still alive at this Rite-Aid. Get some shopping done and grab a quick cone. Friendly staff seem to enjoy scooping!

Everyone loves fried chicken. KFC has got to be one of the most consistent and great tasting purveyors of fried chicken. Great park food! Service is always quick and correct. We usually drive thru and take it someplace fun like the park or the sundial bridge!

Best burgers in town! Love the giant burger. Staff is always efficient and helpful. One of the few "burger stands" left in the world. Bartel's issues a fantasticaly huge burger for a few bucks. I like mine with grilled onions!

One of a kind in Redding! Crab boiled out in front during crab season. Great selection of fish and mollusks in the seafood market. Restaurant has the best Fish and Chips in the area. Standard beers on tap and in bottle. Would like to see a stout beer on tap for use with my fish and chips though.

While RT pizza is getting to be know as a little expensive for what you get, the pizza is always fantastic. This RT has a family night on tuesday with an all-you-can-eat pizza bar. Often face-painting and crafts for the kids. Great for teenage boys that can eat one pizza in three bites! Love the managers here. They take care of customers. I like that.

We patronize New China for takeout pretty often. We always get great and speedy service. Owner sends out occasional coupons for "buy one get something free" We enjoy the Hong Kong dinner for two. Always feeds us for a day or two from the leftovers. Lots of food for the money. Watch out for thai peppers in some of the spicy dishes! THEY'RE WICKED!

Owner is one heck of a nice guy. Takes care of his customers. I'm partial to the "mom and pop" eating establishments on the west side of Redding. Great lunch spot. Lots of good food for a very reasonable price.

Our neighborhood Take n Bake! Always a good pizza. Watch the specials and coupons! We go and get pizza more often than we should. Polite staff and always quick service. Watch out! They seem to get a bit of a rush on Friday nights after work. Phone in!

Went to dinner with Uncle Mick and the folks. Great place for a quick dinner. Waiter was very personable and helpful. I love the variety of syrups waiting on the table for your sampling pleasure!

One of a kind! What a great way to practice you slice (or hook). Purchase a bucket of balls (tokens) from the friendly attendant and work out that hitch in your swing. Great date night for golfers and non-golfers alike!

My Father-in-law and I had a great sandwich here last week. The whole place is decorated in a WWII theme. My Father-in-law is a big WWII buff and loved the place. Great sandwiches. Sodas in the can. Best of all... It's downtown.

Our favorite family restaurant! Always very polite and speedy service from the waiters and waitresses. They really seem to enjoy the kids. We go on saturday or sunday for early dinners and have great time. Reasonably priced and QUICK!
