Rivers Restaurant

I gotta give this one 5 stars. I LOVED the atmosphere. Clean, crisp and modern decor, with the most attentive wait staff of any restaurant I've been to in Redding. Reminded me of a very upscale restaurant I visited in Seattle once, where they all but fed you your meal. Come to think of it, that Seattle Restaurant was called "Waters"... hmmmm... Anyway, for a fine dining experience in Redding, I very highly recommend RIVERS! You'll leave feeling pampered.

I went here for my birthday and it was wonderful to get dressed up and have a quite, romantic meal. I loved their homemade soup and the fish I ordered was outstanding. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a special occasion restaurant. It's pretty pricey, and call for reservations and request a view of the river! Well worth it.

One of my favorite restaurants for a night out. The views are awesome. The blackberry lavender martini is amazing. I have tried numerous entrees and have always been more than pleased. They usually have a few specials a night. We always bring our own wine and corkage is only $20. Service has always been outstanding. Great atmosphere for any occasion.

Their staff is very welcoming and the food is delicious! If you are a local and expecting it to be a romantic place to go like the Hatchcover was you will be disappointed. It is very comtemporary and cold feeling, but still very clean and gorgeous inside. Lunches are comparable to other restaurants in the upper end. Portions are good and Great view of the Sacramento River, but you must sit on the patio for that. Great bartenders and great drinks, too, but a little too expensive for me. Ice-tea is $3.00 and is really bad. Their Cripsy Korean Marinated Chicken Strips were yummy and their 2 for $20 lunch specials are very reasonable. Great place for a business lunch!

Wonderful experience at Rivers. Staff is very professional and the wireless ordering system is outstanding. Never was left with an empty glass. Food was good and dessert was great! Probably the best place in Redding to have classy night out! The views are to die for.
